11 Things to love about FUSION

FUSION Authentic Indian Cuisine had its grand opening on December 22, 2018. Being a fine dining Indian Restaurant in Guelph, ON there was a lot of thought that went into designing the interiors of the venue. As a full-fledged restaurant serving delicious Indian food, cocktails, and an elegant wine list we wanted to make sure we were able to excite all five senses of our guests while they visit our restaurant. Our space is smartly laid out perfectly for any occasion standard seats for any casual business lunches, big booths to seat a party/family of four to six or a table for just two for a romantic date night.

Located at 96 Gordon Street, also known as the “Heart of the Royal City of Guelph”, FUSION aims to bring just that a lot of heart and high caliber standards in our dishes. Our dishes and inside ambiance have the same mission to be “Inspiring and modern yet comforting and familiar”.

Mango Lassi Shots are often best taken prior to or after the dishes. So pretty much amazing whenever you take them. In warmer parts of Indian Lassi is often taken throughout the day to keep your body’s temperature at an optimal level. Moreover, Lassi is known for its health benefits as the yogurt aids in digestions after a heavy lunch.

2. We have gotten amazing feedback for the Naans at our restaurant. The great taste is the result of freshly made to order in a tandoor baked oven at our restaurant.

We make four different types of Naan:

Plain Naan – Tandoor baked light bread
Butter Naan – Multi-layered Indian bread topped with butter
Garlic Naan – Indian bread with freshly chopped garlic
Kashmiri Naan – White flour bread stuffed with dry fruits and nuts.

3. Vegetarian Platter Thali ($12.99) or Meat Platter Thali ($13.99) is a lunch special that is served exclusively every day only from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Rice is the main dish which occupies the central portion while side dishes like vegetable curries and other delicacies are lined circularly along the round Thali. The Chef changes the side dishes based on the best local ingredient they find. Giving you the opportunity to try something new every time. EXCITING!

4. Butter Chicken needs no introduction its a dish that is loved by many. And we have mastered it based on all the lovely we have been receiving for it. Chicken simmered in a cardamon bay leaf flavored tomato sauce with cream and sundried fenugreek leaves. Goes well with rice, naan or our signature Kerala Paratha.

5. Masala Dosa & Plain Dosa give vegans to see what people of Southern India have for Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch, and Dinner. It is somewhat similar to a crepe. The plain Dosa is a crispy lentil and rice crepe while the Masala Dosa is filled with Potato masala both are served with sambhar, tomato and coconut chutney. This is a must try when you visit FUSION.

6. Special Chef’s Biryani ($16.99) cooked with flavored basmati rice with Indian herbs, boneless chicken, vegetable and lamb. There are also other choices of biryani we serve:

7. We love our Tandoori Oven – we use every opportunity we get to cook our dishes. Because the meats are taken to a completely new level of taste and look when they are cooked in Tandoor. We have an exciting variety of Tandoori Dishes: Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Prawns, Tandoori Pomfret(YUM!), Tandoori Gobi, Seekh Kebab, Boti Kebab and more. See the full menu here.

8. Fish Moly is a mildly spiced fish curry cooked with coconut milk and traditional Kerala spices. This is Southern Indian classic. Coconut enhances the flavor and gives it a fresh taste.

9. The Tandoori Pomfret ($19.99) is an epic, Insta-worthy dish that is delicious in every bite: Whole pomfret marinated in chef’s special marination and baked in tandoor oven. We continually have customers travel from other cities such as Brampton, Mississauga and Hamilton drive to our restaurant in Guelph simply to try our Tandoori Pomfret.

10. WE CATER – Having several experienced chefs at our restaurant and a heart to please. We have catered dishes that aren’t available on our menu.
